Medic/CLS

Medic/CLS, or Combat Life Saver is a soldier with a primary combat function and a medical function. In addition to his combat duties, he is also trained to offer life-saving help to the wounded. Because fighting is his main task, a Medic/CLS is not allowed to wear a red cross. The CLS’er works according to the C-ABCD protocol and acts to keep the victim alive until a medical professional, such as a general military nurse (AMV), or doctor, comes to take over the treatment of the victim.
